Every now and then it's fun to post something about Peppa. When our beloved Penny lived with us, I used to post often, but the passing years have left me with less energy for documenting Peppa's life.
But our visit today to Banksia Park was such a good experience that I'd like to document it here. We intended to visit the fenced dog off-lead enclosure, but when we arrived and saw so many cars parked, we remembered that it's cherry blossom time. The Banksia Park Cherry Grove is a highlight of the spring experience in Melbourne.
It was such an affirmation of the multicultural nature of Australian society to see local people of many ethnic backgrounds enjoying this traditional Japanese experience of the simple pleasures of nature.
