Penny has passed level three of canine freestyle! As I posted when we passed level two, Penny is somewhat (actually, heaps) better at it than I am, but that's okay, because it's all about having fun together.
Last night we set off to Melbourne Canine Freestyle, in Dandenong, in a borrowed car that doesn't smell of petrol fumes, and Penny hopped quite happily into the car.
We had lots of fun, as usual, because the atmosphere is relaxed and non-competitive, and during the session Sue, the teacher, filmed each of us. I hadn't prepared a routine, so the movements were a bit repetitive, but I was pleased at how well Penny did the reverse heeling. Here we are:

Look at you, Penny! Great job!
Can you hear our applause?!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Maggie and Mitch, Penny says thanks.
Aww Penny, that was so cute! Good job you two! You executed all the moves very well. Very neat too. I'm so embarrassed to say this but I can be messy at times. Hehe! To me, this is more like Heelwork to Music because there's alot of heeling.

Amber-Mae, I have to admit there was lots of heeling to music, because I didn't prepare and so I forgot all the moves we'd been learning. All I could think of was heeling! maybe next level I'll get more imaginative...
BRAVO PENNY!
Parlance ,I'm really impressed :)
Hi Parlance,
I was also going to suggest that you need to do more choreography. Penny is great, the moves are not as great.
Hi, Mary. Yep you're right, BOL. I guess it's pretty obvious that the human has two left legs and doesn't know one dance move from another.
But it's all about fun together, so that's okay.
However...I've made a resolution to look at some video clips of other dancers and collect some moves.
Slavenka, thanks!!
Great job, Penny! Keep it up! She sure is doing the reverse heeling very well.
Thanks, Serendipity. It's good fun to see new behaviors starting to be easy for her.
