persistent little dog solves a problem

On PetPlace there's a link to a funny video clip of a little dog trying to carry its soft toy through a small gap. I thought it was lovely.

Reminds me of Penny trying to get a long stick through one of our doorways.

Wow! THAT's determination!!! Honey would have given up after 2 tries! :-) That's part of my problem with her - she's so easily deterred if anything requires too much effort...I guess that's the definition of "low drive"!! Ha! Ha! (or in her case, "NO drive")

Thanks for the stuffy warning! But the truth is that my brother NEVER lets me destuff his stuffies. That was only the 3rd stuffy in 3 years to ever get gutted in my home. And my folks are always around when I do it because I can hide in the bedroom (we're not allowed in there when my folks aren't at home). So the destuffed stuffing gets taken away immediately after. It sure is fun though.

I hope you're feeling better after your kennel cough. We got it last year even though we have the nasal vaccine on a regular basis. In fact, it's the ONLY vaccine we do get and we still got sick! It went from zero, to us vomiting from coughing so hard, to no symptoms at all in 48 hours. Not too shabby. And we even made mom miss a wedding in the process! BONUS!

Feel better soon!

Oh, wow! making your human miss a wedding! Before I had a dog I wouldn't have understood her doing that. But now I realise how you dogs depend on us to stay around if you are ill.

Hsin-Yi, the upside of having such a laid-back dog is that she must be a pleasure to live with.

Hello!
I hope you know that I subscribed to your reader a while ago but I forgot to tell you about it! Your Penny is a cutie pie! She looks like she's a very entertaining dog.
Thank you for your comment about my "Fear Of Flying" post and I thought I'd respond here in case you didn't go back to see my reply. You mentioned that a friend of yours is afraid of moths and I was a bit surprised by that but then again many people laugh when a bird gets too close to my head. No, I am not afraid of moths, thank goodness but I don't appreciate them in the house!
I watched the video about the dog trying to get the stuffed animal in the dog bed and that was too funny. I also looked at Penny as she tried to get the stick through the entry gate and she was smart to leave the stick in the kitchen! Very cute.
By the way, I am hosting a photo caption contest which ends next Thursday and I'd love to see what you come up with since you are obviously a fan of words (I am following your other blog). However, the prize is a g.certificate to Barnes & Noble and I don't know if you have that store in Australia....if you win, I will come up w/another prize for you.
Take care....April

Hi, Petsitgal.
I went over and saw the great captions your readers have come up with. I'd be scratching my head to beat those ones...
