Someone told me today that if you feed a dog pumpkin it won't eat it's own poo, not that I knew that could be a problem! Apparently they don't like the smell of the pumpkin , presumably after it has been eaten.
I love feeding the gang canned pumpkin - if they will eat it! But they always seem in much better shape when they do. Usually I resort to it in times of irregularity. (How are you, Parlance and Penny? It must be close to summer there?)

we raw feed and we often see pumpkin recommended as a supplement and for bowel issues. sadly it`s hard to get hold of here.
Mom says she needs to look for some pumpkin for us! Thank you for the info, Penny!
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly
Mitch and Molly, I think you'll like pumpkin. Penny loves it cooked or raw. I suspect cooked may be easier on her stomach.

Very interesting, Mary!

We're well here, and the weather is warming up, that's for sure. I'll pop over to your blog to say hello.
