Slavenka, the good thing about digital cameras is that I can just keep shooting. So far, my ratio of good photos to bad ones is about 1:300. Seriously, the other day I walked along the river with Penny and took over 300 photos and NOT ONE was any good!! But it's great fun.

Amber-Mae, I'll bet it was your mum who figured out that I had a new camera. You dogs aren't so good at seeing things, even though your sense of smell is so fabulous. Yep, I did get a new camera and I'm having fun!

Rusty, you're right, I did get a new camera. I'm doing a photography course as part of a writing course and I'm having great fun trying out settings on the camera.
