dog toys with a bottle inside

Penny has a favorite toy that makes a crinkly noise. When it fell apart because we play tug-of-war with it (which we know is a silly thing to do with a soft toy), I decided to sew it up because she loves in so much. To my surprise I discovered that the weird noise is just an ordinary plastic drink bottle inside it.

Therefore I was excited to read on The Pet Haven blog that there is a company that sells soft toy casings that you can put onto a plastic bottle. I had a look around the Net and found that FatCat Inc.com sells them. They look great, obviously not for tough chewers, though.

Noah, I must confess that when we play tug of war I let Penny win. I'm scared I'll hear a terrible ripping sound and see the gorgeous thing tear in half.

My Mum has just reconnected her computer an' stuff since forever. She has been paintindg the room and it has taken her forever so we haven't been checking your blog. We love the sound of that toy!! My favourite toys when I was ever so small were soft drink bottles. But alas my Mum doesn't think the toy would last long with my big teeth!!

Hello Jabari!! It's good to know your mum is out and about in the virtual world once more.
Jabari, to quote a famous tale, what big teeth you have!

These toys are nice, and my dogs have several .However
their most cherished toy is a rope.

I love playing with rope toys with Penny. We play tug-of-war. Sometimes I worry that she will damage her teeth, because she pulls so hard. but it hasn't happened yet.

That toy doesn't look like it can last very long. Not especially being in the jaws of Faith...Oh yeah, no!

Amber-Mae, even Penny, who's not a chewer, is slowly destroying it! More stuffing came out yesterday so it's having a rest up high on a shelf.

"Not for tough chewers"! Boy, the cat in my lap is glad to hear THAT! ;-) Hi Parlance, I've been away too long. Glad to visit your excellent blog again -- what good work you and Penny do!

Curator, it's good to hear from you. That cat in your lap might love it if you visit the FatCat Inc site, though - it's got heaps of cat toys.
