new places to explore

I've said it before... When you have a dog you find interesting places to explore.

Today we were looking around Alphington while we waited for Penny's appointment at the groomer.

We found Alphington Park, where there seem to be lots of rules.

Even if you must stay on lead, there are good smells to think about.

And since it was near a local wetlands, we were conscientious about staying on lead the whole time.

At least they can't stop you sniffing all the smells. There does seem to be a LOT of rules at that park.

Hi, Charlie, thanks for the visit. I agree about the lots of rules! But since it's a wetlands and a refuge for increasingly endangered native creatures, I guess we didn't mind. We probably won't go back there together, but I might wander through the area without Penny. (Don't tell her...)

Hi, Molly and curator. I've been a bit remiss about checking for comments lately. Where did the time go? Thanks for the visit.

How are you doing, Parlance and Penny? I am thinking of you both.

Thanks, curator, I'm still enjoying your posts, btw, even though I don't always comment.
