does tapestry weaving benefit from a dog's assistance?

Penny's been busy helping one of her humans with tapestry weaving recently. She thinks it's going quite well but she can't understand why humans spend so much time on something that can't be eaten.

It's amazing you can get things done with Penny there. I get so distracted by the pooches, I can never get anything done. Of course, it's usually my fault that I want to play with them.

Your hooman is a very interesting person, Penny! Mom wishes she could visit you and watch tapestry weaving firsthand!

Love ya lots

Looks like spaghetti to me. Why can't we eat it?

Oh Penny, I do understand your point! But it is great that you try to help you hooman even if the result isn't eatable or to play with.
You look like as if you would learn from watching :)

Schwang, the tapestry weaver (not myself) is very focused when she's working and only stops to pat Penny about twice a minute.

Maggie and Mitch, I thought of your mum's interesting hobbies when I posted this one! It's not me, though. It's my sister.

Twink, I think you're on to something here - edible tapestries.

Teal'c, it's amazing how helpful you dogs can be to us poor little old humans.

Mary, I reckon if one of those bobbins had fallen off Penny might have chased it!
