Hi, thanks for your comment on our dance routine over at our blog. We actually love yours! We love how smoothly Penny did her dance moves. We are fascinated with all the backward weaves that Penny and some of the other doggies did. Our human has tried to teach us that but we have yet to get it. May we know how you teach Penny to do that?
Hi, Santa, Minnie and Christmas, Penny can't really weave backwards, she can only 'reverse' though my legs. We taught that over a long period of time. First I stood over her, one leg on each side of her, and taught her to go back through my legs, holding a treat near my left knee so that she only got the treat when she made it that far back. Next I stood half a pace further back, then later even further back, going just a little distance further behind her each time.

Teacher, writer, dog-lover, gardener, miniaturist, - that's part of who I am. I hope through writing I can discover more about myself and more about the interesting world around me.

Maggie and Mitch, I noticed you had been there before me. Sparky is so athletic!
Yes, that was really amazing, and he did look like he was having fun.
Curator, that's the thing about it. He WAS having fun. He is a much-loved pet. And his human is so good at putting a video clip together!
