seven week search for a missing dog

Penny is lying safely in the kitchen as I follow the online diary of the seven-week attempt to capture a Bernese mountain dog that ran off in a panic in Washington in the US. I'd sure hate to think of Penny terrified and alone in the bush like that dog.

I found the link to this amazing story of persistence at Bark blog

It's a gripping diary of events as they happened, with video clips that had me on the edge of my seat.

Losing a pet is the worst thing that can happen to a pet lover. The not knowing doesn't leave you. We lost a dog when I was a teen and I still wonder what happened and I've been overly protective of letting a dog off leash every since.

Thank you so much for the kind words you said on my "Planet" blog. I've been in a writing slump for stroke related issues all summer. So your words mean a lot. Hopefully when winter comes I'll get back into it. Quite a few of my published stroke/aphasia articles were born out of my blogs.

I came over to visit your blog and found you desert pups seem to have a super interesting life. Those snakes had me shivering!
And I'm going to start following Teresa's other blog, of the novel.
