Penny tries out the underwater treadmill

Penny had physio today, and after her session she was introducd to the underwater treadmill. I was thrilled at how easily she took to this new experience.

If you don't want to hear the doting owner talking continually in a silly voice, you might want to turn off the sound on this one!

Oh - what an interesting video! I've never seen an underwater treadmill in action before so it was great to see (how did they fill it with water? Does it flood in from below?)

Penny did so well - she did look a bit perplexed in the beginning but otherwise she was a star! And I htink it was great you were talking and giving encouragement all the time - too many owners don't express themselves enough to their dogs coz they are too self-conscious and worrying about how they'll look!

By the way, how did you do that very cool video transition with the sort of "flim reel" effect? I love it!

Magggie and Mitch, I was proud of her!

Two Pitties, she has a horrible limp today, after the physio and treadmill, and that's a bad feeling, but her spirits are much, much better. Confusing...

Hsin-Yi, the water flooded in from below, and for some reason I stopped filming right then. I think it was probably because I wanted to be right nearby to encourage Penny if she got nervous.
The transition effect in the clip just appeared by itself. I uploaded in iMovie, on my mac, so it was just one of the default choices for people who don't know much about movie-making - namely, me!

Serendipity, she actually seemed to like it. I think she likes new experiences.

Penny did great in the treadmill, really nice! JoJo loved it when we used hydrotherapy after his broken paw! I hope you find out exactly what's going on....believe me, I know how hard all this is on you both. Hang in there, K?
