dogs who think they can sleep in people's beds

One thing we were agreed on when Penny first came to live with us: she wouldn't be allowed in any bedrooms.
Hmmm. Maybe we haven't made that quite clear.

Lucky we've had hot weather lately, because I had to wash the bedding when I arrived home and found...this!

Okay, it's admission time. I didn't make the bed before I went out. I was tuckered out from the long walk in the morning when she swam in the creek and rolled in the dirt to dry herself.

Yes, that sounds a great deal like "the dog is not allowed on the loveseat" - guess how THAT works in our house! But Penny looks so snuggly!

Willow likes to sleep on the bed too. She often stays there all night if the mood takes her.

You were asking about fish oil tablets. At the moment we're using the Cenovis Eco Fish Oil 200mg per tablet. Noah also has Glyde for his arthritis. It's a powder which we sprinkle on his food. It combines Chondroitin, Glucosamine and Green Lipped Mussel Powder.

The plums in your previous post look amazing.

Noah is the only dog I have come across who also takes Glyde. Penny takes it every day because there is something strange about her left elbow. When the vet started her on it, I tried to research it but came up with nothing. But since I trust our vet, we've been using it for years. I think it might have been a new product when we started. She loves the taste.

Curator, remember, we're the humans, the important people - we make the rules and the lesser animals obey.
Hmmm, that's quite good in theory...

She looks so comfortable, like it's not her first time in your bed. Did you come home early? LOL

Levi's mom, yes, she has made it onto beds on occasion - in fact, on every occasion when we go out and forget to close the bedroom doors!

I can live with that, sort of. But when she's filthy and tucked up so nicely in the sheets, head on the pillow, it's a different story.

However, I didn't wake her - she'd already made things grubby, so I waited for her to come out to say hello, which is usually about two or three minutes after someone comes home.

It is difficult for you be angry at Penny when she is so cute,
right?

Maggie and Mitch, she was so comfortable I didn't have the heart to disturb her. What a softie I am.

Slavenka, that's the problem, isn't it? Our dogs are too cute.
