dogs at the cinema

Penny waits at home when I go out to see a film. However, if we were in Austria I could perhaps take her with me. I read about this on Spluch, a general-interest blog.

Guide Dogs and Police dogs in training do go to the movies here in Australia. I am not sure I could sit as still and quiet as the Poodle my Mum was at the movies with. She was not sure why it was there. maybe he was a Utility dog but he was very well behaved.

Jabari, maybe the owner was deaf and the dog was a lip-reading dog. ;-)

What cinema was it, by the way?

Amber-Mae, does the fact that it's a Muslim country mean that many people disapprove of dogs as pets?

We have lots of Muslim people here also, but I'm not sure how they feel about dogs as companions to humans.

the Cinema was Hoyts at Forest Hills. and yes, I am sure he was lip-reading!! Dogs may be viewed as unclean by our friends.

I guess we all have our beliefs about what animals are clean and what ones are unclean.
I was hearing lately some information that suggests that the brown cockroaches in Australia are not unclean, because they are garden creatures, but that the black cockroaches are dirty because they go in sewers. My sister told me after hearing a discussion on the radio.
It's a similar thing about mice. The field mice have quite a good reputation but everyone seems to think the inside mice are more likely to carry infection.
